NARS Hails Maiden Commercial Flight at Gateway International Airport, Iperu-Ilishan

The National Association of Remo Students (NARS National Headquarters), under the leadership of Comrade Shittu Olamilekan (National Coordinator), has congratulated the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the historic commencement of commercial flight operations at the Gateway International Airport, Iperu-Ilishan.

In a statement signed by Lady Comr. Okulaja Kehinde Feyikemi, National Welfare Director of the association, NARS described the event as “a new dawn in Remoland and a milestone that symbolizes visionary leadership, resilience, and excellence.”

According to the statement, the successful takeoff of the maiden commercial flight marks a significant chapter in the infrastructural and economic transformation of Ogun State. NARS noted that the world-class aviation facility would not only boost trade, tourism, and industrialization but also create new employment opportunities and enhance global connectivity for residents.

“This landmark project has repositioned Remoland and Ogun State for greater economic advantage — unlocking vast opportunities in trade, tourism, employment, industrialization, and international connectivity,” the association stated.

The statement further commended Governor Abiodun for his foresight and commitment to progress, describing the airport as a bridge between dreams and reality that inspires Remo youths to believe in purposeful leadership and the power of vision.

“As the welfare-conscious body representing all Remo students globally, NARS celebrates this monumental achievement with pride and gratitude. This accomplishment reminds every young person that visionary leadership, when combined with purposeful action, can transform communities and destinies alike,” Lady Comr. Feyikemi said.

The association reaffirmed its support for the administration’s developmental agenda, expressing confidence that the Gateway International Airport would stand as a lasting testament to the governor’s legacy.

“Remoland salutes your vision, and the students of Remo stand proudly with you,” the statement concluded.
