In a congratulatory message released by the board’s Secretary, Sir Yemi Adeitan, and announced by  Tope Oyekan, the organization Media Officer, the appointment was lauded as a perfect match of skills and responsibilities. Adeitan noted that Prince Oyekoya’s professional pedigree and political antecedents make him exceptionally suited for this crucial role. 


“On behalf of the entire members of the board, I write to felicitate you on this well-deserved appointment which is not only apt, but timely, coming at a time that all efforts are geared towards sustainable agriculture and food security,” Adeitan remarked.

The Secretary expressed confidence in Oyekoya’s ability to deliver on the expectations of the role, highlighting his competence, capacity, and dedication to the cause. “We have no doubt in your ability, competence, and capacity to successfully deliver on this sensitive and important assignment. We hereby send our best wishes as we pray for a successful and impactful tenure for you,” Adeitan added.

The board also took the opportunity to express its gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun for selecting their Chairman for this vital position, assuring the Governor of their full support for Oyekoya as he embarks on this new journey.

Prince Wale Oyekoya, the newly appointed Consultant on Agriculture, is a renowned agriculturist with a distinguished career spanning various sectors of agriculture and public service. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Bama Farms Limited and has previously held the position of Chairman of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Agriculture Committee. Known for his insightful analyses on agriculture and food security, Oyekoya is also a frequent contributor to broadcast media and a published author with several works to his name.

Beyond his professional achievements, Oyekoya is deeply committed to community development. He is the President of the prestigious Akesan Royal Executives and the Treasurer of the Iperu Development Association, demonstrating his dedication to grassroots progress.
