Second Edition of Welimarsax Live in Concert Holds Today, Sunday, 1st September, 2024

The second edition of the Welimarsax Live in Concert will be held today, Sunday, 1st September, 2024,.at Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

The concert with the theme, "The Love of Christ", John 3;16, will take place at the Akesan Iperu Club 1954, Atenda, Iperu Remo, commencing from 2 pm, with a Red Carpet starting at 1 pm.

Several stars and upcoming gospel musical acts have been slated to minister at the concert.
These include Shola Adesina; Tabitha Feranmi; Steve Sax; Minister Stella; Minister Opeyemi Orekoya; Minstrel Victoria; and Steve Praise.

Also lined up to perform at the concert are Minister Samuel Kamiyo; Yommytee Sax; Tope Triumphant; and Minister Ay Praise.
Pastor GBELEE of the Heritage Church of God, will render some words of exhortation at the praise gathering, while Ven. Shadrach Olaniyi AJILEYE, Vicar, St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu, and Archdeacon of the Iperu Archdeaconry, is the Father of the Day, and will offer spirirual blessings

The event according to the Host and Convener, Adewale EFUWAPE, popularly known as Welimarsax, is a gathering of gospel music talents and a wonderful opportunity for youths and the entire community to come together to celebrate the love of Christ, by giving God quality praise, propagate the gospel, encourage inbuilt talents, pray for the community, local government area, state, the nation, and the world at large; and most importantly, to experience God's presence
"It is a wonderful time to sing and dance to the most-high God, and celebrate the love of Christ in the presence of God, as powerful ministers of God will be leading us into His gate with thanksgiving in our hearts and His court with praise in worship to Him that sits on the throne", said EFUWAPE.

Iperu Leaders to FAAN: Gateway Airport Sits on Our Land, Not Ilishan By Habeeb Ibrahim Fresh tension has emerged in Remo land following growing outrage by Iperu indigenes over the misnaming of the Gateway International Cargo Airport as being located in Ilishan instead of Iperu.
